Home/Garden Rooms/Garden Offices
Garden rooms · Essex
Professional, quiet working space away from the main house. Designed around how you actually work — insulated, hard-wired, properly lit and heated — not a shed with a desk in it.
What an office has to get right
01
Full insulation to walls, floor and roof, with acoustic panelling available where the garden backs onto a road or a school.
02
Hard-wired data points, dedicated circuits for computers and screens, and WiFi that reaches the end of the garden.
03
Properly insulated as standard, with air conditioning for efficient heating and cooling as an upgrade.
04
Layered LED lighting, spotlights over the desk and full-height glazing positioned for daylight without screen glare.

Investment
Fully finished, insulated, wired and decorated. The final figure depends on size, specification and site — your quotation itemises what’s included.
Planning
It depends on the size, position, height and intended use of the building, and on your property. Many garden rooms can be built under permitted development, but not all — and we won’t tell you otherwise before we’ve looked. Where planning or Building Regulations apply, we identify it during the design stage.
