Home/Garden Rooms/Games Rooms
Garden rooms · Essex
Pool tables, gaming set-ups and seating need space, light and power in the right places. We design the room around how it will be played in, not the other way round.
What a games room has to get right
01
Sized around the table or set-up — including cue clearance and seating — rather than squeezing furniture into a standard box.
02
Pendant lighting over the table, dimmable LEDs elsewhere and glazing positioned to avoid glare on screens.
03
Dedicated circuits, plenty of sockets, hard-wired data for low-latency gaming and TV points where screens will go.
04
Properly insulated and heated as standard, with air conditioning for summer sessions with the doors shut.
A typical games room specification
Every games room is designed around the table or set-up and the people using it. This is where most games rooms start.

Hard-wired data points and WiFi access point

Insulated throughout; air conditioning available as an upgrade
Investment
Fully finished, insulated, wired and decorated. The final figure depends on size, specification and site — your quotation itemises what’s included.
Planning
It depends on the size, position, height and intended use of the building, and on your property. Many garden rooms can be built under permitted development, but not all — and we won’t tell you otherwise before we’ve looked. Where planning or Building Regulations apply, we identify it during the design stage.
Other garden rooms
